The patch I sent does have a possible problem: It disables all the
keys except for 1-9, '-', '+' and '\' when running xorg with the
following configuration:

Section "InputDevice"
        Identifier "Generic Keyboard"
        Driver "kbd"
# Driver "evdev"
# Option "Device"
"/dev/input/by-id/usb-Mitsumi_Electric_Apple_Extended_USB_Keyboard-event-kbd"
        Option "CoreKeyboard"
        Option "XkbRules" "xorg"
        Option "XkbModel" "macintosh"
        Option "XkbLayout" "gb"
# Option "XkbOptions" "altwin:meta_win"
EndSection

The keys do work perfectly on the console however.

If I reload the old keymap and restart X, the keys /still/ don't work.
It's not clear what the cause is, because all I did was run dumpkeys,
and then loadkeys....

Regards,
Roger
