Package: joe
Version: 3.3-5
Severity: normal

When doing a search-and-replace, the new version of joe now makes a
suggestion for both the "search" and the "replace" values (namely, the
previous search or replace value). This makes it impossible to replace
something globally by nothing (i.e. delete something globally). If you type
nothing as the replace value joe stupidly takes this as agreement with its
own suggestion for the replacement.

This is an extremely annoying new "feature" that should be removed ASAP.

Regards, Jan
