Either FAM or inotify support via GnomeVFS or directly inotify. I think glib gained a minimalistic file or directory watch function (a simple periodic stat() IIRC). FAM has design limitations which might be perceived as bugs, but is relatively clean. inotify is the most effective, but limits portability. -- Loïc Minier <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
