Hi, somebody know what happen about support ssl in debian for gftp ?
Each day more sites using ssl connections =( in debian i don't see other
graphic client for ftp with support ssl.
Please have a look to the bug log, everything is explained. There is
currently no support for SSL in gftp, that can be *legally* activated.
Other distributions (almost all?) that are doing that are violating the
GPL license.
As the main author of gftp does not want to relicense gftp because it's
very hard to contact every contributor, the only solution is to write an
SSL support using gnutls. Until now nobody have written it...
