I'm still having issues with message display not working after several
hours of use. I can hit reply and see the missing message text quoted,

What kind of setup are you running?
Thunderbird under KDE 3.5.3 (Sid)
Do you use plain text view, simple html or full html for messages?
Most mail that I receive is plain text. Mail whose message bodies do not
display include both plain text and simple html.
Further, do you have any extensions installed?
New Mail Icon 1.2.2 installed from the Debian package.
Have you verified that the same message(s) display properly before
using thunderbird 'several hours'?
Yes, messages that have previously displayed properly also have trouble
getting displayed.

p.s. please take care that the bug is listed as To: or CC: when
replying to this mail (e.g. /reply-all/).
Done!
Please note that I've upgraded to the latest Thunderbird in Sid
(1.5.0.4-3 (20060713)) since reporting the bug, so I will see if the
problem reproduces in this version.

Arthur.
