Could you also try "debsums cupsys2 |grep -vw OK$"? Also send the output when setting (exporting) LD_DEBUG=bindings or LD_DEBUG=symbols before starting cupsd. Rub�n, any extra info you can give is also appreciated. Can either of you still reproduce this problem? Just for kicks, "sudo which cupsd".
