It was for me a great and unpleasant surprise that these options don't
work on Windows when accessing local files. When I was about to pass
over an application developed and tested on Debian, it appeared that
it doesn't work on MS Windows at all!

Even if this is a problem of LizardTech plugin, the users should be
warned about it. I would also appreciate an explanation why it is so.
