Package: ogmtools Version: 1:1.5-1 Severity: important
ogmdemux segfaults with almost every OGM file, it doesn't matter which switches are used. I tried demuxing only video, only audio and only text, and neither works. Increasing the verbosity doesn't seem to help: [EMAIL PROTECTED]:/datos4$ ogmdemux -v file.ogm (ogmdemux.c) (v1/1) fps: 23.976 width height: 640x480 codec: 0x58564944 (XVID) (ogmdemux.c) Extracting v1 to "file.ogm-v1.avi". (ogmdemux.c) (a1/2) codec: 85 (0x0055) (MP3), bits per sample: 0 channels: 2 samples per second: 48000 avgbytespersec: 24000 blockalign: 1 (ogmdemux.c) Extracting a1 to "file.ogm-a1.mp3". (ogmdemux.c) (a2/3) codec: 85 (0x0055) (MP3), bits per sample: 0 channels: 2 samples per second: 48000 avgbytespersec: 24000 blockalign: 1 (ogmdemux.c) Extracting a2 to "file.ogm-a2.mp3". (ogmdemux.c) (t1/4) text/subtitle stream (ogmdemux.c) Extracting t1 to "file.ogm-t1.srt". Segmentation fault I found a solution, but it's pretty ugly: remerging the OGM file with "ogmmerge -o newfile.ogm file.ogm", and then demuxing the new file. In the documentation of ogmtools I read that with version 1.2.0 a problem with OGM headers was fixed. Maybe this is related to the bug, so with ogmmerge the headers are fixed, and ogmdemux works fine after that. -- System Information: Debian Release: 3.1 APT prefers unstable APT policy: (990, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.8-2-k7 Locale: LANG=es_ES.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=es_ES.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Versions of packages ogmtools depends on: ii libc6 2.3.2.ds1-20 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an ii libdvdread3 0.9.4-5 Simple foundation for reading DVDs ii libgcc1 1:3.4.3-9 GCC support library ii libogg0 1.1.0-1 Ogg Bitstream Library ii libstdc++5 1:3.3.5-8 The GNU Standard C++ Library v3 ii libvorbis0a 1.0.1-1 The Vorbis General Audio Compressi ii libvorbisenc2 1.0.1-1 The Vorbis General Audio Compressi -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
