The compiler default has moved on. This would also fix RC bug #1140566.
Bumping the severity to important, this may be bumped to RC later.

If the gccgo split won't happen anytime soon, perhaps for the time being the GCC 
version can be bumped (unsure if that's possible with current gccgo).
