Hi,I attempted to take up on this RFP but there are some problems with the way how the upstream code is written.
It depends on flare-backend which has git dependencies pinned to specific commits. The Debian Rust Team has advised not to package this in its current state and advised to reach out to the upstream to clean up the codebase.
This will be a time consuming package and I don't have a lot of time to work on the package for now. If anyone's interested, please take over my work at: https://salsa.debian.org/spaciouskarter78/flare
There are a few rust deps that need to be packaged such as blurhash and a few others.
