klaus 2.x had a bug where git clone/pull/fetch to the klaus https smartserver 
fails.
This was fixed upstream https://github.com/jonashaag/klaus/issues/326
Packaging the latest version from upstream is straightforward and fixes this 
bug.
Please do so.
I have attached a barebones .debian.tar.xz that worked for me.
