Hi, There is no need to set QT_IM_MODULE nor QT_IM_MODULES for Fctix5 underr Qt KDE Plasma 6 Wayland
Correct place to set environment is to place a configuration file in ~/.config/environment.d/ If you wish to support older Qt, you set as QT_IM_MODULE=fcitx QT_IM_MODULES=wayland,fcitx In upcoming 1.1 has explanation for this is documented in README.Debian.
