The local mirror is an apt-proxy grabbing from ftp.de.debian.org. If
add this source directly, I get the same (as expected):
postgresql-client | 7.5.19 | http://127.0.0.1 etch/main Packages
postgresql-client | 7.5.19 | http://ftp.de.debian.org etch/main Packages
postgresql-client | 7.4.7-6sarge2 | http://127.0.0.1 sarge/updates/main Packages
postgresql-7.4 | 1:7.4.9-2 | http://127.0.0.1 etch/main Packages
postgresql-7.4 | 1:7.4.9-2 | http://ftp.de.debian.org etch/main Packages

Which mirror do you use?

Greetings

             Helge
