I assume you meant 4:4.4.2 here not 4.3.10. The package on p.d.o has 4.4.2
You can recompile this package with php < 4.3.10 . Do you know how to
do it ? If not, I can do it for you.
I'm pretty sure I know how to make the necessary changes to
debian/control to lower the dependency to 4.3.10, but that does make me
wonder why that isn't just that way in the real package. (It would make
life substantially easier for people that want to run the package on sarge.)
