Hi,
Version 1.05 of xmame, have a serious bug, that make it unplayable
on fullscreen mode, because start with no focus and there is no way to do
anything.
As we can read in changelog of http://x.mame.net/
Release 0.106, 27 May 2006
Reverted a change that was intended to work around some Metacity
focus misbehavior but was causing all window managers to have focus
problems in fullscreen mode.
An update to last version (1.06) will fix the problem
