I think this source package should be called 'betterleaks' and provide the binary tools in a package called 'betterleaks'.
The 'betterleaks' project appears to be from the same author as 'gitleaks' which is already in Debian. Please compare packaging, I suspect it will be similar. I'm happy to work as co-maintainer on betterleaks eventually too, as I suggest my dependencies that needed 'gitleaks' will eventually migrate to 'betterleaks'. /Simon "Andrew Lee (李健秋)" <[email protected]> writes: > Package: wnpp > Severity: wishlist > Owner: Andrew Lee (李健秋) <[email protected]> > > * Package name : golang-github-betterleaks-betterleaks > Version : 1.5.0-1 > Upstream Author : https://github.com/betterleaks/betterleaks/issues > * URL : https://github.com/betterleaks/betterleaks > * License : Expat > Programming Lang: Go > Description : Scan the world (for secrets) > > Betterleaks is a configurable, fast, and thorough secrets scanner. > . > It is maintained by the folks who made Gitleaks, including the original > author. > > This is required by chezmoi. >
