When upgrading til version 1:1.0.8+1.0.9pre1-1, my NIS-driven

automounter: "Unsupported nfs mount option: grpid". I had to roll back
to 1:1.0.8-8 to be able to file this report ... I have fixed the
automatically generated "depends on:" below to show the installation
when the fault was manifest.

Of course I am not absolutely certain that the actual fault is
in nfs-kernel-server - but it disappeared when I rolled back
nfs-kernel-server and nfs-common.

This sounds very much like it's the fault of the new mount.nfs, so it's the
same problem as #376839. Upstream is already aware of these problems, so I
assume a fix will arrive in 1.0.9pre2.

That sounds very likely - I should have spotted the word "options" in 376839 myself and just added to that report.

May I suggest that you increase the severity of the merged report to prevent the package from moving into "testing"? My feeling is that this version doesn't really belong there with this regression.
