you wrote in an earlier mail, that fglrx doesn't work for - maybe there
are some libGL*.so files leftover from an earlier fglrx installation?
i can reproduce most opengl applications to crash with a segfault, if i
use the xorg libGL on a nvidia xserver... just sounds familiar.
