yes, but I'd still like to make rootstrap as version agnostic as possible (but without clogging it with too many hacks, so 2.4 support is kind of excluded). Alex Bodnaru worked on the solution we will implement: an init.d script that checks the uml kernel version and diverts/undiverts /lib/tls. The script is attached as it didn't make to the list, one post is here: http://lists.alioth.debian.org/pipermail/pkg-uml-devel/2006-July/000285.html I didn't test nor reviewd carefully the patch yet, as I'm pretty busy at work these days.
