Package: mail-notification Version: 2.0.dfsg.1-3 Severity: wishlist this is a wishlist request for mail-notifaction to ping the mail server more often when the user is actively using X. a second timing setting should be added to the preferences dialog (called something like "check mail every 1 minute when actively using computer"). i suggest a 1 minute default so that the user can see their action relatively quickly once they clean out their mailbox and also when they recieve new mail.
