Tyler, I've put together an attempt to fix this, but I haven't uploaded it yet. Could you please test the packages at: http://free.linux.hp.com/~ahs3/laptop-net and see if that works as you expect? I'm pretty sure it will, but I'd sure appreciate a little broader testing before I do an upload. This version should not affect the interface in any way during the upgrade.
