Regarding your offer to NMU the libmotif-dev package,
please do! I have a keen interest in this and am now stuck
being unable to provide software updates for some Motif based
software I maintain. 2.5 months is enough time to wait for a
fix from the maintainer. BTW, the Motif packages in
Ubuntu Dapper already have the necessary changes for the new xorg.
