Thanks, I've CCed them. Since the repository is in the emacsen-team namespace, I'd still expect this to be something the team can address directly - it looks like an accidental setting and should be quick to fix. At least this would be done in all teams I'm a member of. The repository also seems out of sync with the current package, so you might want to check its status.
