Package: release.debian.org

Dear Release Managers:

I request that the serious severity for these bugs is restored:

https://lists.debian.org/debian-release/2026/03/thrd2.html

Rationale: It was properly announced in -devel-announce that those
bugs are considered to be RC.

While we are at it, I'd like to propose this wording for
Release Policy:

"Packages must build ok with nocheck build profile on any system capable of building
them."

Rationale: Here "capable" means "enough memory and enough disk space", which
means
no bias against the user's system should be allowed in this case, because we
would
be crossing the line of DFSG compliance (i.e. the end user must always be able
to build the package, at least when using nocheck as a "safe mode"). This
follows
an idea which was suggested to me by Paul Gevers privately several years ago
but was never implemented.

Thanks.
