This package is relevant to me, since it is used in the course of searching for stable-tree backports of upstream commits. This can be used to help with fixing CVEs and other vulnerabilities in the Linux Kernel. I believe it may be of interest to others for similar applications as well. It is also a dependency of a software project I am working on, and I would like to have an easy time installing and maintaining it on different machines. I am looking for a sponsor to help me maintain this package, though it should not be much of a burden since it is a simple package.
