Package: xfce4 Version: 4.2.3 Hi,
i just had the unpleasant experience of the OOM killer kicking in and killing apps at random. A look at htop output provided me with the information that xfdesktop had three processes at more than 250megs resident each. I had a vnc session running with xfce in it for days [maybe a week or so] now. So it seems to me xfce likes to leak memory like crazy. Thus I killed the whole vnc session [and xfce in it of course] and that freed over 700 megs of ram [i have a gig ram in the box, so 700mb is a notable chunk of that]. The xfce session was sitting idly for most of the time. So i don't know what exact action triggered the memory leak in xfce.
