Package: debbugs Severity: wishlist An example:
- Bug 123456 has been filed to package A - In order the A to behave correct, B (say; library) needs to be updated to latest upstream version. So, until new B is packaged, it blocks marking bug in A (123456) done. SUGGESTION Add chainign possibility to the BTS system, where the "block" command will chain the bug to close when the one pointed by "by" is marked done. Current syntax: block A by B New syntax: block A by B [do <action>] Where <action> would be any valid BTS command. An example: block A by B do close A Or: block A by B do tags A + pending -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Kernel: Linux 2.6.16-2-686 Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C (charmap=ISO-8859-1) (ignored: LC_ALL set to en_US) -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
