Removing "BackingStore" doesn't have any effect to the issue. But EXA makes rendering RGBA images significantly faster - although not as fast I'd expect to, there is no noticeable impact to scrolling these images in Konqueror. EXA seems to have another performance problems though. It seems to be somewhat slower in general and significantly slower with a lot of small images - Konqueror filemanager view renders several seconds in full screen, while it's almost instant with XAA. -- Hasso Tepper
