Hi Soumyajyotii! Thanks for working on this. Once you feel it is ready for review, please submit a Merge Request at https://salsa.debian.org/mariadb-team/mariadb-server/-/merge_requests along with perhaps some info of how you tested in on hppa as Salsa CI does not have that architecture.
As your changes include what I did in !146 I will close that draft MR once your MR is posted and it supersedes it.
