No. For this particular package, GBP repository layout is counter productive and even *harmful*. Use `origtargz` (or `uscan`) to acquire upstream sources. `origtargz` is a very reliable tool that can also fetch upstream tarball from Debian mirrors (hence making "upstream" and "pristine-tar" branches obsolete). You should be able to build package in a traditional way, e.g. https://salsa.debian.org/onlyjob/notes/-/wikis/bp See also https://salsa.debian.org/onlyjob/notes/-/wikis/no-gbp Feel free to adjust "gbp.conf" so that GBP could build from "debian/"-only repository layout. -- Best wishes, Dmitry Smirnov GPG key : 4096R/52B6BBD953968D1B --- Formal government can be defined as: a group of men who sell retribution to the inhabitants of a limited geographic area at monopolistic prices. -- Robert LeFevre, "The Fundamental of Liberty" (1988)
