Hello Bastian, many thanks for your commits in the git, they are really appreciated. I think that your fixes will land in the archive when one of us takes the time to package 0.69, which should be easy since the amount of changes made by upstream is rather minimal.
From my POV, you can also go ahead and NMU the package if you want to get it in the archive right now. I understand that you are on a QA quest, and I highly respect that. Personally I'm deep under water because of day job, sorry. Packaging 0.69 would be important to avoid what happened last time, where we uploaded a new upstream release short before the freeze, and the release managers got mad at us. Bastian, we would appreciate your help even more if you could please give it a try to update the package to 0.69. But like I said, you have my blessing to NMU the package even if you don't have the time to update its version.
