Hi, MulTeX was developed by Takafumi Sakurai (also the developer of NTT jTeX) for multilingual typesetting. According to its official website, https://www.math.s.chiba-u.ac.jp/~sakurai/software.html, it was actively maintained until 2009, but is no longer maintained. MulTeX is no longer as important as it once was, because there are now multiple multilingual TeX derivatives. Therefore, I support the removal of MulTeX.
