I am not aware of any concrete actions after that. The status in this thread and what is visible in https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=1111616 and https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=1122332 is current as far as I know.
