Dear Bastian, > Please find an updated patch attached with the requested pointer.
Thank you the updated patch with pointer. https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=1120935 Looks good. I committed to salsa. I was looking for the exact parts of Policy. I now know it is in 12.5 and introduced in Policy 3.9.0. The current Policy goes: > Packages distributed under the Apache license (version 2.0), the Artistic > license, the Creative Commons CC0-1.0 license, the GNU GPL (versions 1, 2, or > 3), the GNU LGPL (versions 2, 2.1, or 3), the GNU FDL (versions 1.2 or 1.3), > and the Mozilla Public License (version 1.1 or 2.0) should refer to the > corresponding files under /usr/share/common-licenses, 9 rather than quoting > them in the copyright file. This section has gone through many other changes according to upgrading- checklist.rst since debmake was created: > The Creative Commons CC0 1.0 Universal license (CC0-1.0) is now > included in ``/usr/share/common-licenses`` and does not need to be > copied verbatim in the package ``copyright`` file. > The Mozilla Public License 1.1 and 2.0 (MPL-1.1 and MPL-2.0) are now > included in ``/usr/share/common-licenses`` and do not need to be > copied verbatim in the package ``copyright`` file. So CC0-1.0 and MPL-1.1 and MPL-2.0 needs to be addressed (-> future task.) MPL-1.1 is easy but let me think other issues. Osamu
