Package: pyenv Version: 2.6.8-1 Severity: normal The https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=1102884#22 reopening of 1102884 was twofolds. The man page fixup and the request for removal of /etc/profile.d/pyenv.sh. The pyenv man page .bashrc example was indeed fixed in 2.6.8-1 but /etc/profile.d/pyenv.sh was not removed, thus hte rehash error is still there.
I still have " pyenv: cannot rehash: /usr/share/pyenv/shims isn't writable " on login with pyenv 2.6.8-1. Note that I don't know if the /etc/profile.d/pyenv.sh should be removed. From https://github.com/pyenv/pyenv/issues/1157 adding --no- rehash, as in`pyenv init - --no-rehash`, is OK if the contents of pyenv is not to be changed, which might be the case here. Maybe you want to add to the CC Francesco Poli <[email protected]> who asekd for the /etc/profile.d/pyenv.sh removal.
