Is it that long already? Wasn't it like yesterday?

Speaking as upstream here.
I consider to migrate this to a sqlite based backend at this point. But
for reasons of my schedule I cannot work on this anymore this year. I
have it on my list for January.

I would be happy if we could keep it in Debian. But I also don't want
to block any of your tasks at this point.
