This is a passing comment since I don't think I'll be reviewing gpu-screen-recorder for upload.
It is unusual to have a package description begin like this: Description: Shadowplay-like screen recorder (systemd service) (NOT RECOMMENDED) NOTE: THIS SERVICE DOESN'T WORK IF YOUR ROOT USER IS DISABLED, EVEN WITH SUDO! NOTE: THIS SERVICE HAS SEVERAL PROBLEMS AND IS NOT STANDARD, NOT RECOMMENDED! If the package is broken, maybe it's better to not include it in Debian at all. You can override dh_install to remove certain files to prevent dh_missing from complaining about them. Alternatively, you can list files in debian/not-installed to avoid the dh_missing error. The original bug report mentioned that it was intended to be maintained inside the Debian Games team. Have you contacted that team to see if they would be willing to co-maintain this with you?
