Hello and thanks for maintaining audacious in Debian!
I switched to Audacious Qt interface ("Qt mode") almost 2 years ago,
and never looked back. I find it is really nice.
However, I've recently found out (after a fresh install on a new system)
that the Qt interface fails to show its icons (such as the ones for
previous, play, stop, next, and several others), unless you have package
'qt6-svg-plugins' installed on your system.
This was a surprise.
Just running
# aptitude install audacious
was not enough to see the icons in the Qt interface of Audacious.
I had to also manually run
# aptitude install qt6-svg-plugins
I would say that package 'audacious' (or maybe 'audacious-plugins')
should Depend, or, at least, Recommend package 'qt6-svg-plugins'.
Please fix the Debian packaging, in order to improve the Debian
user experience.
Thanks for your time and dedication.
Season's greetings!
