Hello Otto. It is of course possible that the problem is fixed today (still have to recheck myself). But it's unlikely that the problem was fixed "long ago", because the last binNMU triggered by Release Managers 8 days ago had this outcome: https://buildd.debian.org/status/package.php?p=lintian%2dbrush (i.e. Failed everywhere). If this really fixed itself without doing anything in the package itself, then the problem must be in some build-dependency. I'm going use debbisect to figure out which one, then will reassign (and probably close) the bug appropriately. (If you have not used debbisect yet, try it, it's a great tool :-) Thanks.
