Package: src:napari-console Version: 0.1.4-1 Severity: serious Tags: ftbfs forky sid
Dear maintainer: During a rebuild of all packages in unstable, this package failed to build. Below you will find the last part of the build log (probably the most relevant part, but not necessarily). If required, the full build log is available here: https://people.debian.org/~sanvila/build-logs/202512/ About the archive rebuild: The build was made on virtual machines from AWS, using sbuild and a reduced chroot with only build-essential packages. If you cannot reproduce the bug please contact me privately, as I am willing to provide ssh access to a virtual machine where the bug is fully reproducible. If this is really a bug in one of the build-depends, please use reassign and add an affects on src:napari-console, so that this is still visible in the BTS web page for this package. Thanks. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- [...] debian/rules clean dh clean --buildsystem=pybuild --test-pytest dh_auto_clean -O--buildsystem=pybuild This leads to an ambiguous overall configuration. If you want to distribute this package, please make sure that 'napari_console._tests' is explicitly added to the `packages` configuration field. Alternatively, you can also rely on setuptools' discovery methods (for example by using `find_namespace_packages(...)`/`find_namespace:` instead of `find_packages(...)`/`find:`). You can read more about "package discovery" on setuptools documentation page: - https://setuptools.pypa.io/en/latest/userguide/package_discovery.html If you don't want 'napari_console._tests' to be distributed and are already explicitly excluding 'napari_console._tests' via `find_namespace_packages(...)/find_namespace` or `find_packages(...)/find`, you can try to use `exclude_package_data`, or `include-package-data=False` in combination with a more fine grained `package-data` configuration. You can read more about "package data files" on setuptools documentation page: - https://setuptools.pypa.io/en/latest/userguide/datafiles.html [^1]: For Python, any directory (with suitable naming) can be imported, even if it does not contain any `.py` files. On the other hand, currently there is no concept of package data directory, all directories are treated like packages. ******************************************************************************** !! check.warn(importable) copying napari_console/napari.yaml -> build/lib/napari_console creating build/lib/napari_console/_tests copying napari_console/_tests/__init__.py -> build/lib/napari_console/_tests copying napari_console/_tests/test_qt_console.py -> build/lib/napari_console/_tests installing to build/bdist.linux-x86_64/wheel running install running install_lib creating build/bdist.linux-x86_64/wheel creating build/bdist.linux-x86_64/wheel/napari_console copying build/lib/napari_console/napari.yaml -> build/bdist.linux-x86_64/wheel/./napari_console creating build/bdist.linux-x86_64/wheel/napari_console/_tests copying build/lib/napari_console/_tests/test_qt_console.py -> build/bdist.linux-x86_64/wheel/./napari_console/_tests copying build/lib/napari_console/_tests/__init__.py -> build/bdist.linux-x86_64/wheel/./napari_console/_tests copying build/lib/napari_console/_hookimpl.py -> build/bdist.linux-x86_64/wheel/./napari_console copying build/lib/napari_console/qt_console.py -> build/bdist.linux-x86_64/wheel/./napari_console copying build/lib/napari_console/_version.py -> build/bdist.linux-x86_64/wheel/./napari_console copying build/lib/napari_console/__init__.py -> build/bdist.linux-x86_64/wheel/./napari_console running install_egg_info Copying napari_console.egg-info to build/bdist.linux-x86_64/wheel/./napari_console-0.1.4.egg-info running install_scripts creating build/bdist.linux-x86_64/wheel/napari_console-0.1.4.dist-info/WHEEL creating '/<<PKGBUILDDIR>>/.pybuild/cpython3_3.13/.tmp-l33vmw1c/napari_console-0.1.4-py3-none-any.whl' and adding 'build/bdist.linux-x86_64/wheel' to it adding 'napari_console/__init__.py' adding 'napari_console/_hookimpl.py' adding 'napari_console/_version.py' adding 'napari_console/napari.yaml' adding 'napari_console/qt_console.py' adding 'napari_console/_tests/__init__.py' adding 'napari_console/_tests/test_qt_console.py' adding 'napari_console-0.1.4.dist-info/licenses/LICENSE' adding 'napari_console-0.1.4.dist-info/METADATA' adding 'napari_console-0.1.4.dist-info/WHEEL' adding 'napari_console-0.1.4.dist-info/entry_points.txt' adding 'napari_console-0.1.4.dist-info/top_level.txt' adding 'napari_console-0.1.4.dist-info/RECORD' removing build/bdist.linux-x86_64/wheel Successfully built napari_console-0.1.4-py3-none-any.whl I: pybuild plugin_pyproject:155: Unpacking wheel built for python3.13 with "installer" module dh_auto_build: error: pybuild --build -i python{version} -p "3.14 3.13" returned exit code 13 make: *** [debian/rules:6: binary] Error 25 dpkg-buildpackage: error: debian/rules binary subprocess failed with exit status 2 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
