Hi, Thanks for your bug report. It was not my intention to allow the IVTV packages to propagate to testing without the correct kernel images.
Fortunately 2.6.16 should be propagating any day now:

I will leave this bugs open for now and close it once the correct kernel
is in testing.
In the meantime you can get 0.4 based packages from
http://www.hellion.org.uk/ivtv/index.html
Currently only 0.4.5 -- 0.4.6 packages should be coming as soon as I get
a spare couple of minutes.
