Hi Adrian and everybody,

indeed there is no plan to change architecture support in r-base-core, nor in
the r-cran package managed by Dirk, which tend to be more central in the
dependency graph than ours.

I will go ahead with starting uploads that restrict architecture in the
team-maintained r-cran-* (first) and r-bioc-* (later) packages.  If there
are objections I will revert these changes.

In principle this overlaps with all the binNMUs proposed in this thread except
for the packages maintained by Dirk, if any.
