This fixes the issue with evince for me. I think it requires upgrading several cups related packages [1] to 2.4.16-1, which I did. d [1]: cups cups-client cups-core-drivers cups-ipp-utils libcups2t64 cups-bsd cups-common cups-daemon cups-server-common
