Package: ovmf
Version: 2025.08.01-4
Severity: important

Dear Maintainer,

The OVMF.amdsev.fd binary is not found by libvirt. A call to
virt-install fails with the error message:

> ERROR Path '/usr/share/ovmf/OVMF.amdsev.fd' is not accessible: No such
> file or directory

I believe this is caused by a mismatch of the path in the
60-edk2-x86_64-amdsev.json config file and the actual location of the
OVMF.amdsev.fd binary:

> $# grep OVMF.amdsev.fd /usr/share/qemu/firmware/60-edk2-x86_64-amdsev.json
> "filename": "/usr/share/ovmf/OVMF.amdsev.fd",
> root@grumpel:/home/tp# ls /usr/share/OVMF/OVMF.amdsev.fd
> /usr/share/OVMF/OVMF.amdsev.fd

When I manually change the path in the 60-edk2-x86_64-amdsev.json file,
then the libvirt finds the OVMF file again.

Thanks
