I changed the pull request [1] to add a conflicts setting on the
unbound-resolvconf service file. This way both services can be installed
together but will not run at the same time unless an administrator
configures them correctly to work with each other and overrides this
default setting.

Thanks! That should work for me, since I don't use
unbound-resolvconf.service.
