Thanks for the report.  The fundamental problem here is that Debian
does not (and cannot, due to patent concerns :-/) distribute a version
of mmpeg capable of writing mp3 output, requiring you to use an
unofficial binary anyway, or else prepare your ringtones externally.
(See /usr/share/doc/bitpim/README.Debian for more information.)

That said, I'm not sure unofficial binaries are all that likely to
support -hq either, so dropping the flag is probably still in order.

[BTW, I've Bcc:ed the BTS's control address to lower this bug's
severity to normal, as it only affects one particular option.]
