Since v256, systemd provides a utility systemd-ssh-proxy, which can be used to extend ssh(8) to connect to ssh server running on sockets other than tcp, by first establishing connection to the specified socket and then passing the socket fd to ssh. It can work independently, without the need of the systemd init daemon. It would be better if you can make it in a separate package. Cheers, Miao Wang
