Sorry for the quite late response. Net::DNS breaks its public API every
second release, and gdnsd's test suite is also exercising a lot of its
code paths, including occasional private API uses as well. Therefore,
such breakages are a common occurence sadly, as evident from the git
history and changelog. I've spent countless hours fixing some of them
upstream, but this time it looks like we got lucky and upstream got to
it first :) I've contemplated at times just disabling the test suite as
the rate of false positives is 100% at the moment, and would be
interested in your opinion.

Regardless, your NMU is totally OK, and very much appreciated -- as is
the opportunity for me to review, through a DELAYED upload. My only
request, if it's not too much of a hassle, would be to commit these
changes to salsa as well, either as an MR or directly (the package is
under the "debian" namespace, so you should have access). If you've
moved on to other packages in the meantime, that's understandable; in
that case, please consider this for future NMUs to my packages. Help
always welcome though, in any shape or form.

Thank you for spending the time to fix this!

Regards,
Faidon
