It is too soon for me to declare it conclusively, but it appears the Xen 4.20.0+68-g35cb38b222-1 and/or Linux 6.12.48-1 packages may resolve bug #988477. I mention kernel version since there is a possibility that was part of the issue.
The bug will need to remain open for some time while I monitor things though.
