With foebar2000 in windows I can set the gain. And it was even already
set (Track Gain -6.63 dB, Track Peak: 1.09125602).

In this directory everything is scanned, but not the subdirectorys.

Just a small output:
============================================================
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:/windows/win_e/INCOMPLETE$ ls -lisah | head --lines=5
total 13M
 76101  16K drwxrwx--- 89 root krasnoj  16K Jun 26 21:27 .
     1  16K drwxrwx--- 24 root krasnoj  16K Jun 26 21:27 ..
151426 3.5M -rwxrwx---  1 root krasnoj 3.5M Jun 26 21:27 00_test.ogg
 76194  16K drwxrwx---  3 root krasnoj  16K Mar 19 19:25 4 non blondes
============================================================
and:
============================================================
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:/windows/win_e/INCOMPLETE$  find "4 non blondes"/ |
grep ogg | wc -l
9
============================================================
So there are many files.

The realy strange thing is that it has problems with scanning of "."
but the file in "." was scanned. And a "find ." doesn?t report any
errors, so I don?t think that file permissions can be a problem. And
like alread mailed:
============================================================
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:/windows/win_e/INCOMPLETE$ grep win_e /etc/fstab
/dev/hda6       /windows/win_e  vfat
rw,user,exec,gid=krasnoj,umask=007      0       0
============================================================
And I don?t beliefe that it is possible to set more rights on a FAT32
Partition. But if you want to have output of any command, I will
surely send it to you.

Now i mad a test and copied the 4nonblondes directory and the testfile
to /tmp/test (ext2) and tried to run
"vorbisgain -s -r *"
and there it run perfectly so I still believe that it is a FAT32 problem.

Stefan

BTW: Where can I get youre public key?
